What to Expect Day of Surgery

At Midsota, your safety, comfort and privacy are very important to us and will be respected at all times. We welcome you to ask questions at any time. We are here to serve you.

Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time. You may check in at the reception desk. A nurse will accompany you through the admission process and you will change into a surgical gown and have your procedure performed in one of our state-of-the-art surgical suites.

You will meet with anesthesia personnel to discuss and plan your anesthesia management. You will need to sign a consent form for your surgery and anesthesia. If the patient is a minor or dependent adult, this form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. We require that at least one parent or legal guardian remain at Midsota Surgical Suites throughout the surgery and recovery for any patient under 18 years of age or for a dependent adult.
