Meet the Doctors

Evelyn J. Erickson, M.D. Dr. Erickson specializes in surgery of the breasts and body to meet a variety of needs. Other physicians frequently refer their patients to her who are interested in breast reconstruction, particularly for more complex reconstructive techniques. In the thirteen years she has been practicing in central Minnesota, she made these more challenging autogenous tissue techniques an available option for women who have faced or will face the loss of a breast. Dr. Erickson is often requested for women seeking breast reduction as well. Teenagers and young women with developmental breast issues such as lack of growth on one side leading to asymmetry or problematic breast shape are often asked to meet with Dr. Erickson by their physicians. Her breast augmentation practice focuses not only on this challenging group but also on women needing different surgical approaches to each breast for other reasons. With the success of surgical weight loss procedures which leave excesses of skin from weight loss, Dr. Erickson performs and enjoys body contouring procedures and finds satisfaction in the help she can offer these individuals. Dr. Erickson frequently finds herself working with staff who have been her patients as they view her work first hand and then seek their own care with her. She is active in the physician management of Midsota Plastic Surgeons. She is frequently requested as a public speaker. She enjoys home life with her husband and children, and often travels out west to her family home.
